1000 Acts of Kindness uses cranes to inspire us to create a ripple effect, making the world a better place one compassionate act at a time. Our hope at World Karma Project is that the cranes inspire 1000 acts of kindness that resonate into the world. Spreading kindness creates a ripple effect for the betterment of ourselves and makes the people around us “awesome.”
1000 Acts of Kindness art installation project will be in NYC, Beverly Hills, Boston, Cambridge, Vermont and the Palo Alto, CA from August 12th to September 9th, 2013
Marimekko Visual teams will install 1000 cranes as a centrepiece in its flagship stores: Library Room for NYC and Ball Room for Beverly Hills. 100 crane installations will be featured in window displays for Boston, Cambridge, Vermont and the Palo Alto, CA locations.
Calling karma warrior citizens of the world: Become part of the installation!
Everyone who visits the installation can be part of the living art, by writing an act of kindness on a crane, and going out and performing that act within the next 48 hours.
Start your own kindness ripple effect, making a better world in the space in which you are living.
